How the game was announced

June 2026: Steak leaked that the unannounced project “had fish in it,” showed an aquarium you can walk into, showed boat turrets, and named it Fishing Wars. He killed two rumors on the same stream: it is not a brainrot game, and it is not a stealing game. The hook is collecting fish, upgrading the aquarium, and fighting on boats.

August 2026: a second leak set the public date to 31 August 2026, showed a redesigned map with underwater coral, Fisherman Joe, mythical spots, pirates, sharks, and a Loch Ness drop. The live experience opened around that weekend under the title Fishing Wars [RELEASE].

Post-launch: he uploaded a play-here video with the official URL and a separate stream about banning hackers. That last one is why the scripts hub is a warning, not a celebration.

What he wants the game to be

From his own mouth: fish, aquarium, boats, guns, mythical water, a map that looks good underwater. The Roblox description matches — FISH. FIGHT. COLLECT., Kraken in the deep, unlock boats and weapons. If a feature looks like Steal a Brainrot, it is either a misread of boat PvP or a bug he will hear about in Discord.
