Fishing Wars Live Ops After Launch

Launch weekend is documented on the launch update. This page is the follow-up: numbers and live-ops beats we can pin to the Roblox API, the BIG GIANT FOOD group, and Steak’s own uploads — not a fake patch list.

Figures move by the hour. This is the order of magnitude recorded while updating the wiki:

• Title still Fishing Wars [RELEASE]

A 2 September Studio push is not automatically “Update 2: Dual Kraken.” It is a live place that was touched after launch. Until Steak or the group shout names the change, treat it as hotfix / live-ops, not a content drop.

Confirmed post-launch beat: bans

Steak uploaded Banning HACKERS in my game after RELEASE. He joins servers, watches suspected tools, and bans. That is the most important live-ops signal in week one: the owner is not AFK. If your account cannot join, you may have been in that wave. The scripts hub is the warning, not a loadout.

Still missing

• A public in-game promo code table — codes stays empty until a toast is real
• A Trello or official fish dex
• A group shout with a gift string (shout was empty when we last checked)
• Split-screen co-op

What we will log next

A child page or a new row here when:

1. Steak says a change on a live, in Discord, or in a group shout, or
2. The Roblox updated timestamp jumps and players report Joe, the pad, boats, or beasts behaving differently, or
3. A code string produces a reward toast in this client — not in Fisch.

We will not invent “Volcano Event” because the landmark exists. The volcano is a heading on the map until a patch says otherwise.

How to play the current build

Same loop as launch. Getting started, how to play, make money, upgrade order. Do not skip the pad. Do not take a naked hull to the Kraken. Do not paste a loader because a thumbnail promised infinite Loch Ness.

If you are returning after a week, check this snapshot, then the updates hub. The June leak map is still wrong. The 31 August ocean — coral, Joe, pad, eight-player boats — is still the game.

Why the numbers matter

Three hundred thousand visits in days is enough for Steak to care about cheaters and enough for clone places to copy the name. Always match place ID 106605020123719 and the BIG GIANT FOOD chip. Concurrent in the hundreds is enough for the dock to feel busy without being a 70-player mega-lobby. Eight-player caps were a design choice, not a soft launch limit.

Favorites around 12.5k are the usual Roblox “I might come back” button. They are also how many fishing games unlock the first code. When that string exists, it will be on the codes hub the same day we see the toast — not before.
